The guesthouse is five minutes from the Saturday Walking Market, and the King Mengrai monument, ten minutes from the day market, and 15 minutes from the Night Bazaar – a good distance to build up an appetite for all the delicious local foods on offer, and to walk off the meal on the way back..! …For those less inclined to walk, we can arrange pickups using the local tuk-tuks.

Rest! We have 15 rooms with double or twin beds, including one suitable for a family, to choose from. Every room has its own bathroom with western style toilet and hot shower. Prices start at 250 baht per room per night. Some rooms have air conditioning, while the rest have fans, cooling you down on those hot, sultry Thai nights.

Eat! Our restaurant menu includes Thai and western food, as well as a fridge full of soft drinks and beers. There are also many local restaurants to choose from within a five minute walk.

Relax! We have an area for you to chill out. Stretch out on our traditional Thai pillows, or swing lazily in our hammocks. Watch satellite TV in our indoor lounge, or choose something to read from our book swap shelf – give a book and take a book for your onward journey.

Network! Mirror Art Guesthouse has free wireless internet access, and a desktop computer for you to use as well. Tell all your friends about the wonderful time you’re having in Chiang Rai.

Buy! We sell ethnic handicrafts and clothing in our main building - all items are handmade by local Hilltribe women giving them an income, generated in a safe environment.

Trek! Mirror promotes ecotourism; stimulating the local economy, empowering the Hilltribes to build their own tours, and ensuring an ethical and truthful understanding of the tribes, rather than the usual “authentic experience”.

Cook! We offer a course in Thai and Hilltribe cooking, learning the art of cooking some of the wonderful dishes traditional to the area. From Phad Thai to Gaeng Garee, Phad Pak Luam to Khao Sawy. (Email for information and costs)
