2days/1night Trekking and Homestay program


Day 1
Pick up at bus station, airport or hotel in Chiang Rai city.
Orientation (English or Japanese language) about our organization and hilltribe cultural traditions.
Trek to Jalae village (6KM 2hours~2hours and half).
Tour Lahu tribe temple and Hilltribe Museum.
Walk to waterfall and swim.
Enjoy packed banana-leaf lunch.
Trek to Yafu village (Lahu tribe) (3.5KM 1hour and half).
Dinner in village.
Optional: Lahu traditional dance (a donation of 500B up per group is required).
Stay overnight in Yafu village.

Day 2
Breakfast in Yafu village.
Visit school in Yafu.
Collect native vegetables and enjoy traditional bamboo lunch. Learn how to make bamboo cups.
Trek to Jalae (3KM, 1hour).
Ride by car from Jalae to Ruammit village (Karen tribe).
Elephant ride (30 minutes)
Visit Wat Prageaw temple and local market.
Return to bus station, airport or hotel in Chiang Rai city.

Souvenirs (included in the fee):
Eco-tour original T-shirt, Hilltribe waterbottle bag, booklet about hilltribes, bamboo cup
