Seventeen years ago, a group of university students gathered in Bangkok to protest against the military rule of the time known as “Black May”. They called themselves “Black Dove”, a symbol of suppressed freedom. They used performance as a medium to educate the people about democracy. After democracy was restored, many members of Black Dove went back home or resumed their studies, however, those who remained to continue the campaigning changed their name to the Mirror Art Group….
